when you create a project in jdeveloper by default it associates the integrated weblogic server
but many times that is not sufficient , we would like to create our own domain and deploy the applications to it
Step -1
create a logical entry for your application server
in the ide connections template , right click new connection and give the attributes pointing to your server
there is a test tab to verify what you did is correct(Server should be running)
Step -2
Application-->Application Properties -->Run, Bind to Integrated Application Server(Pick your server)
